MI LINDO PERU

This site is about one of the most fascinating countries in the world, PERU.  A country that has 3 regions, the Coast, the Mountains & the Jungle, each has a different culture. Peru has a  history beginning with pre-Columbian civilisations, from the, Chavin,  Mochica-Chimus, Nazcas, Pachachamacs & the one everone knows the Incas.  In the 1520,s the Spanish under Francisco Pizzaro landed, in what is now Tumbes, and with a small band of men, defeated the last Inca emperor Atahualpa, so began 300 hundred years of Spanish domination and conquest of Latin America.

This is the land that gaves us  300 varieties of potatoes,  corn,  the tomato , the bean, the guinea pig, delicious in a peanut sauce, the llama, Machu Piccu and last but not leat my in laws. I hope that you find something of interesting in this site.  I will be guiding you from the Pacific to the Amazon, to the Andes, covering the history from The Chavins to the Sendero Luminoso and Alberto Fujimori
