Colonel Fawcett was an English army officer who waas aked by the governments of Peru and Bolivia, 1906/07, 1910 , 1911 & 1913 to deliniated the boundaries between the two countries as well as the boundaries between Bolivia and Brasil in the years 1908/09, 1914, 1920/21 & 1925.  Using the book writen by his son, we will follow his paths and make this into two great journeys.   The journey of 1925 was where Fawcett, his son  Jack,  and a friend "dissapeared, in Brasil, while searching for the "lost white tribe."

Colonel Fawcett began his first journey in 1906.  He had to deliniate the boundary between Bolivia & Peru.  We will travel in his footsteps, beginning in La Paz, travelling down the Rio Beni looking at some river towns such as Rurenabaque, Riberalta, Villa Bella, Porvenir and Cobija.  These towns 100 years ago we primitive, have they changed?

This is the expeditions of Fawcett in Bolivia & Brasil durning 1908/09, 1914, 1920/21 & his final expedition in 1925, when he and his party disappeared.   We will be travelling into the Matto Grosso, Santa Cruz, Corumba, Cuiba and crossing the Rios Verde, Colorado, Xingu & the Sao Francisco

The Pantanal, where Corumba is, one of the great wet lands in the world.  The city of Corumba is a boarder town with Bolivia, a place where you have to be careful.
